My  Story

Hello, I'm Evan Curneen, and this is my journey.

From the moment I entered this world, I faced the challenges of being partially deaf and hard of hearing, necessitating the constant companionship of specialized hearing aids. My early years led me to a unique educational path, starting at a special deaf school in Dublin from 1999 to 2004. After a brief stint at a different school in Cavan, I found myself longing for the familiarity of my deaf school. I had an incredible journey filled with challenges &

growth over the years, My resilience in overcoming surgeries and hospital stays is truly inspiring. The way I turned my passion for visual arts into photography, Especially during such a difficult time as the pandemic, shows as mine adaptability and creativity & Educational background in graphic design at Roslyn Park College and studies in Art, Craft and Design at Cavan Institute have clearly laid a strong foundation for mine artistic endeavors. It’s impressive how I took the initiative to learn photography independently through platforms like YouTube, demonstrating not only eagerness to learn but also my ability to self-motivate As diverse interests in various photography in a way with genres wildlife, landscapes, still-life, macro, portraits, architecture & more reflect a well-rounded enthusiasm for the art form. It’s great to hear that I comfortable with my Canon cameras and lenses, as well as drone photography with the DJI Mini 2, which allows for unique aerial perspectives. If I considering taking my photography further, perhaps I could create a portfolio showcasing my work like this site & my social media, This could lead to potential opportunities, whether that be freelance projects, exhibitions, or even selling prints. Remember that photography is a journey, and every click of the shutter is a step along my path. Keep capturing those moments, and continue to share mine vision with the world!
